Raphael Bleier
I build websites, AI assistants and small specialist programs, from Klagenfurt, on my own, with a direct line and no project manager in between.
What I do
I build what a small business actually needs: a website that brings in inquiries, an assistant that answers the standard questions, a program that takes over an evaluation which used to eat two hours a month. I write the code, I set up the server, I stay reachable afterwards. You talk to the same person who built the thing.
What I work with
I did not learn this trade in a seminar room but on my own systems: on servers that had to keep running and on programs I use myself. What I reach for there is what goes into your project as well: version control for every single change, containers for an environment that can be rebuilt at any time, automated tests for function, loading time and accessibility, and AI models as a tool while writing and reviewing code.
This website is the evidence. It runs against the same tests I use for client projects, and the Website Check at /en/website-check/ measures with the same method I use before every handover. What you get from that: every change can be traced, a fault shows up in the tests rather than at your customers, and nothing is built that cannot be kept running without me.
How I work
The process first, then the design. Before the first line of code it is set out in writing which pages there are, what each should do and what it costs. The build is AI-assisted. That is why a company website costs €2,400 with me and not €6,000. The checking is done by hand: every page runs against automated tests for accessibility and loading time, and I read every piece of copy myself before it goes live. AI writes the first draft, not the last word.
You do not get a weekly report from me, you get a working interim state in the browser. I answer questions within one working day. After handover you can stay or go. The source code belongs to you, and maintenance from €49 per month is an offer, not a condition.
What I run myself
Nobody credibly sells maintenance who has never pulled a service back up at two in the morning. I run three Proxmox nodes with containers and virtual machines behind a reverse proxy, with internal name resolution, scheduled backups to separate storage and monitoring that checks from the outside. On top of that come my own programs, among them a service that adds up income from several systems and warns before tax thresholds are crossed. Both are described with their setup and outcome under Work.
