There is neither a statutory nor a contractual obligation to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The services are addressed exclusively to entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 1 UGB (Austrian Commercial Code).

The European regulation on online dispute resolution was repealed with effect from 20 July 2025 and the associated platform of the European Commission has been shut down. A reference to it is therefore omitted.
