Custom software and automation
Tools for the one process your standard software does not know about.

What custom software means here
A tool for exactly the process your standard software does not cover. That is usually not a large system but a small one: the report someone copies together by hand every Monday. The list that travels back and forth between two programs. The form whose result gets entered into three spreadsheets afterwards. Processes like that can be automated in days rather than months.
Who this pays off for
For businesses where the same manual work comes back every week. The arithmetic is simple: two hours a week is around a hundred hours a year. If the automation costs €2,200, it has paid for itself in the first year. If it does not pay off by that arithmetic, that goes in the concept and you save yourself the project.
What it costs
From €2,200 for one automated process, from €5,400 for a business application with a database and user management, from €9,800 for several connected systems. All amounts are net. There is no hourly rate on this website: before the first line of code you get a price and a limit.
How it runs
In four steps, with one approval after the concept. First I record how the process runs today, on site or by video call, usually two hours. Then you get a written concept with effort, limits and price. Only after your approval does the build begin, with an interim state after every week. Last, the application runs in a test operation with your real data.
What is not included
Licenses, miracles and systems with no way out. Third-party licenses I pass on if something is to be connected. A system with no interface and no data export cannot be connected seriously. I say that before the quote, not after. On-call duty around the clock I do not offer as a sole trader; the response time is one working day.
Data protection
Your data stays in your hands. Applications run on infrastructure inside the EU, on request on your own server. Personal data is logged, not written into plain-text logs, and I set down retention periods in the concept. For the development phase we conclude a data processing agreement under Art 28 GDPR where needed.

Contract terms at a glance

- Invoices fall due without deduction within 14 days of the invoice date.
- Monthly fees run for at least twelve months and can then be cancelled with one month notice to the end of a month.
- The rights to the result, source code included, pass to you upon payment in full.
- Additional work outside the agreed scope comes as a separate written fixed-price offer, never as billing by time.
- Ongoing costs apply only if you add maintenance; hosting on Cloudflare typically costs under €5 per month, the domain around €15 per year.
All of it is set out in the Terms.

Frequently asked questions
How do I tell whether automation pays off?
By the time it takes. A process that costs two hours a week ties up around a hundred working hours a year. If the automation comes to €2,200, it has usually paid for itself in the first year. If it does not pay off, I say so in the concept.
What happens if the effort turns out higher than estimated?
You hear about it before the costs arise. In case of a considerable overrun of the estimate I am obliged to notify you and I get in touch instead of carrying on. Additional work outside the agreed scope comes as a separate fixed-price offer, not as a bill by time.
Can the software be connected to our existing system?
If there is an interface or a data export, yes. If there is neither, I say so before the quote. A system with no way out cannot be connected seriously.
Who owns the source code?
You do, on full payment. Under the terms and conditions the rights of use pass over only on full payment, after which the code is yours and you can switch at any time.
Who runs the application afterwards?
You or I, whichever you prefer. Operation and further development run through maintenance from €49 per month with a minimum term of twelve months, or as a separate fixed-price offer per stage. Without a contract I hand over code, documentation and access details in full.
Does this fit your plans?
Write a few lines about what it is about. Within one working day you get an assessment with a price range and a duration, not just a promise to call back.
