What you get
A WordPress that is set up lean and leaves the editing to you. Not a bought theme stack with forty plugins, but a small, checked selection and a theme that fits your brand. You write posts and change copy yourself; everything technical, meaning updates, backup and uptime, runs under the maintenance contract.
Who this pays off for
For businesses where new content comes up regularly. Anyone publishing posts, references or job ads every month needs a content management system and saves themselves every change request. Anyone who builds a site once and then leaves it standing for three years does better with the custom build from €2,400. There is no update obligation there. Whether your existing WordPress still holds up technically is shown beforehand by the website check.
What it costs
From €1,900 one-off plus maintenance from €49 per month, minimum term twelve months. The Business package with your own theme and a migration comes to €3,400, a custom build with a booking flow or a members area from €5,900. If you want to sell, the online shop from €3,900 is the better fit. All amounts are net. Without a maintenance contract, hosting adds €10 to €20 per month depending on the provider; in maintenance from €49 it is included.
How it runs
In four steps over three to four weeks. First I review what exists and agree the page structure and the plugin list with you. That list is binding and does not grow unnoticed. Then the theme is ready with the home page for your approval. After that come the remaining pages together with the migration and the redirects. At the end: hardening, backup, training and handover of the access details.
What is not included
Licenses, photos and permanent upkeep without a contract. Premium plugins I pass on at cost price if you want one. Photo production is not included and I do not use stock photos. Without a maintenance contract I hand the system over to you in full, but then updates and backups are your responsibility.
Data protection
The contact form stores in your own database, not with a form service. Fonts and maps sit locally, so no requests go out to Google Fonts or Google Maps unless you want that. If you do want tracking, it comes with its own consent banner preset to “declined”, not a monthly third-party subscription.

Contract terms at a glance
- A down payment of 40 percent is due when the order is placed, for orders of €2,000 and above.
- Invoices fall due without deduction within 14 days of the invoice date.
- Monthly fees run for at least twelve months and can then be cancelled with one month notice to the end of a month.
- The rights to the result, source code included, pass to you upon payment in full.
- Additional work outside the agreed scope comes as a separate written fixed-price offer, never as billing by time.
- Ongoing costs apply only if you add maintenance; hosting on Cloudflare typically costs under €5 per month, the domain around €15 per year.

No VAT is charged, small business exemption under § 6 Abs 1 Z 27 UStG (Austrian VAT Act). Estimates are non-binding (§ 1170a Abs 2 ABGB, Austrian Civil Code).

Why WordPress and not a custom build?
Because you want to write yourself. WordPress pays off when posts, references or job ads are added regularly. For a company website that changes rarely, the custom build from €2,400 is faster and needs less upkeep.
How many plugins do I get?
As few as possible, usually under ten. Every plugin is an update obligation and a possible security hole. Contact form, cookie notice and SEO basics I solve without a third-party plugin.
What does maintenance cost?
From €49 per month for updates, backup and uptime monitoring, from €89 per month with a monthly report and one hour of changes. Both run for twelve months and can be cancelled monthly after that.
Can you take over my existing website?
Yes, if it is technically sound. I look at the version, the plugins and the security situation and tell you honestly whether taking it over or rebuilding comes out cheaper. That takeover review itself costs nothing.
What happens if the site gets hacked?
The daily backup sits off the server and restoring it is included in the maintenance contract. Without a maintenance contract the restore comes as a separate fixed-price offer. That is why maintenance with WordPress is not a recommendation but a precondition.
